Civil litigation trial practice, including appeals, emphasizing real estate broker professional liability defense, wrongful termination/sexual harassment/discrimination defense, business/contract litigation, insurance law and medical malpractice.
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
Jane Rheinheimer was admitted to the bar in 1987, California and U.S. District Court, Southern District of California. Her trial and litigation practice focuses on the defense of professional liability and employment claims. Jane lectures on wrongful termination and professional liability, and has taught a number of State Bar approved seminars in the areas of employment law and professional liability defense. She is accredited by the California Department of Insurance for the continuing education instruction of insurance agents and brokers. Jane has authored numerous articles on employment litigation avoidance issues and on professional liability defense.
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS:
Jane received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1981 from Georgetown University, and her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1987. She is a member of the San Diego Association of Realtors, the San Diego County and American Bar Associations, the State Bar of California, the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, the San Diego Defense Lawyers Association, and the San Diego Business Trial Lawyers Association. Jane speaks French and Spanish. Jane is "AV" rated with Martindale-Hubbell.
