Civil litigation; malpractice defense of licensed professionals including real estate brokers, agents and accountants; employment law; and the defense of developers, general contractors and subcontractors in complex, multi-party construction defect litigation.
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
Suzanne Smigliani was admitted to the bar in 1994, California and U.S. District Court, Southern District of California. Her practice includes the defense of real estate brokers and accountants, employment, and construction defect claims. Suzanne has extensive experience managing cases from initial client contact and liability assessment through trial.
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATIONS:
Suzanne received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1990 from the University of California at Los Angeles, and her Juris Doctor in 1994 from the University of San Diego School of Law. She was a member of the Board of Directors in 1996, and President of the San Diego Barristers Club in 1997. She is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the State Bar of California, and the San Diego Defense Lawyers Association.
